July 9, 2026 Digital Automation Lab, Reggio Emilia
26, the annual event promoted by Rete IDEAgri dedicated to artificial intelligence applied to agriculture. The day brought together machinery manufacturers, agromechanics associations, supply chain representatives and sector developers to explore concrete AI applications in agriculture: from interoperability to data management, all the way to real-time decision support.
A Talk Rooted in Precision Agriculture
During the day, the team shared Vaimee’s approach to precision agriculture, presenting how Agorà, Vaimee’s software-only platform for precision irrigation, uses weather data, soil profiles and crop water needs to deliver reliable recommendations without the need for in-field sensors. An approach that makes sustainable water management tools accessible to farms of any size, reducing costs and the technological barriers typical of hardware-based solutions.
Networking and New Connections
Beyond the moment of sharing on stage, VT-Day proved to be an important networking opportunity, allowing Vaimee to engage with a highly qualified and technical audience from machinery manufacturers to system integrators and to expand its network within the agritech innovation community. An interesting signal emerged during the day: even the most hardware-oriented sectors are shifting the conversation from “whether” to adopt artificial intelligence to “how” to do it, territory where Agorà’s software-only approach fits naturally.
Thank You
Our thanks go to the organizers of VT-Day, Rete IDEAgri, for the opportunity, and to all the speakers who took the stage throughout the day for the valuable insights they shared. Days like this confirm how essential dialogue between different organizations is to building a more sustainable future for agriculture, together.
